Casa Giitana is a stunning 3 bedroom penthouse with a private pool nestled above the trees. It sleeps 8 guests very comfortably and has 3 full bathrooms. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and you are within walking/biking distance to world class beaches and dining.

What I love about this magical space is the thoughtful design. The master suite is an entire studio apartment of it’s own, called Casita Gitana, with a separate entrance joining the rest of the penthouse. This allows groups to enjoy some extra privacy.

The primary suite features a cozy king size bed, a sexy peek-a-boo shower with a separate toilet, a large double sink bathroom and the suite walks out onto a lush private balcony with a beautiful outdoor bathtub.

It’s really like a luxury hotel room except it’s attached to a gorgeous penthouse! This is the perfect place for a bachelorette getaway or for anyone planning a group retreat.

How far is the beach?

The closest beach is a 7 min bike ride / 5 min drive

Is there a supermarket and ATM near by?

Yes! There is one within walking distance! THere is also a 24/7 7 Eleven just outside the entrance to Luum Zama.

Is there free parking?

Yes! There is free parking on site just outside the building.

Is there a concierge?

Yes! The concierge is on site to help you with anything you need.

Is it a safe area?

Yes, we are located in a private gated community.

How do I get around if I don't have a car?

I rent bikes that are available for you to use. There is also a taxi stand right at the entrance of Luum Zama (1 min walk from the property).

Are there restaurants nearby?

There are many great local restaurants and cafes that are just a short walk or bike ride away.

What is the currency in Mexico?

Mexican Pesos or U.S. Dollars. Many places accept credit cards as well.

I loved to stay there, the gated community feels really safe and it’s just beautiful to walk inside the jungle. The airbnb itself has a great large bed, a really nice bathroom and just beautiful design all around. It doesn’t have a desk or a table so if you plan on working or eating there just keep that in mind. I would definitely come back here!

Ideally located in Aldea Zama, the Luum Zambo complex is gorgeous, quiet and impeccably maintained. It was easy for us to bike to the beach hotel strip, the north beach as well as to old Tulum. I particularly loved how private it was, really nestled into the jungle with trees, lanterns and plants everywhere! None of the photos do justice to how beautiful and special Casa Gitana is, I really felt like I was in a deluxe penthouse and the rooftop plunge pool just off my bedroom was a dream! The terrace above the tree line was such a nice feature and it was the perfect spot lie in a hammock and watch the sun go down. No doubt in my mind that this was the best view in Tulum!! Less poetic to mention but always good to know: incredibly fast and good quality wi-fi. We were shocked that working remotely from the jungle could be such a seamless experience! Highly recommend and will be returning
